Expiration Date
One of the most important lessons I’ve learn this year is that everything has an expiration date. However, it’s up to you to recognize when things have expired.
We all have people in our lives that the expiration date expired on a long time ago. Don’t walk into the new year with old news. You know exactly what relationships have expired.
You may be on a job where your season is up. Where that expiration date is looking at you to move. You may have outgrown the company and just need someone else that offers more growth.
The lesson for me is that I had an expiration date on the old me that I was holding on to. I had to let go of some characteristics. I had to make some changes and I’m so glad I did before 2020. I also had an expiration date on not allowing myself personal time. Mental health is super important. The old me was running myself down with worry and trying to please everyone else. The new me, excited and currently living my best life. Now, I can go into the new year with no baggage. Expired baggage is a weight that will bring you all of the way down.
Don’t be bring expired goods into the new year.
